Increased workloads lead to new mean machine

More work involving steel and cladding projects has led to AJE investing in a third telescopic handler reducing the cost of hired lifting plant.

This is a new addition to the all-terrain Magni rotating telescopic handler (RTH) and a UNIC Spider Crane which were bought in 2018 and led to more work in the water industry.

The new piece of kit is a low hours 2018 Magni RTH 6.35 SH which has a max. capacity of 6 Tonnes and a huge reach of 35m and is the largest ROTO in the company’s ‘fleet.’

It’s already been put to good use and is on site Fort Augustus, whilst the other machines are at New Deer (Merlo) and Sumburgh, Shetland (Magni).

Buying local is always the aim for AJE and the local agency for Magni is Hodge Plant Ltd, based in Nairn.
