Two buildings for easy to work with contractor

Corrie Construction has also engaged with AJ Engineering to fabricate, erect and clad two buildings on its site at Fort Augustus.

The first is a 400kV GIS Building at New Deer substation and the other us 132kV building which involves 150 Tonnes of steel with a mezzanine floor.

Allan Martin said: “Both these projects are progressing well and as usual working with Corrie Construction is straight forward and the teams on site work together well.

“Erection of the 132kV building begun with all the steel fabricated, painted and delivered to site. For the health and welfare of all their employees and subcontractors the site at Fort Augustus has been shut down due to the current situation and we look forward to getting back to complete these good jobs when we can.”
