AJE seeks new graduate apprentice

Current and past apprentice at AJE.

AJ Engineering is looking to recruit its fourth Graduate Apprentice.

The firm is advertising for a graduate apprentice in BEng (hons) Engineering: Design and Manufacture.

The course includes a thorough grounding in engineering principles, concepts and theories while appreciating the complexity and interaction of managerial, technical and environmental issues in the modern workplace.

Once in post, the new employee, will be the fourth graduate apprentice that AJ Engineering has supported.

In 2017, the engineering and construction company became one of the first in the north to take on an engineering graduate apprentice when the scheme was first launched.

In February, we celebrated the achievements of Jack Lowes, who completed a graduate apprenticeship degree in Design and Manufacturing with Robert Gordons University, finishing with a first-class honours and top of his class.

And Quality Manager, Jazmin Kellas is due to complete her Graduate Apprenticeship in Business Management, later this year.

The candidate for the latest graduate apprenticeship will have SQA Higher: BBBB to include maths and either engineering science, physics or technological studies, English at National 5 grade C or above is required if not held at Higher.

The candidate will study at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen through a mixture of work-based learning, distance learning and day release at university.
