AJ Engineering is currently looking for an enthusiastic Stores Assistant to join our business in Forres. This is an excellent opportunity within our Project Support Department where your role will play a key part in the day-to-day operations.

As our Stores Assistant you will be responsible for the effective storage, control and maintenance of the company’s raw materials, consumables stock and tools.  You will also be responsible for the timely issuing of materials and tools to our workshops and sites as well as PPE to personnel.

To be considered for this position you must have excellent communication skills, good IT literacy skills, the ability to work under pressure, be a good team player, work alone when required and be self-motivated.  A forklift licence and full UK driving licence would be preferred but are not essential.

You will be given training in the role and the pay rate is dependent on experience.
